Mister Sanchez has been a principal negotiator in educational collective bargaining for many years, and his law practice has been informed by principles of interest-based negotiations. His focus on a win/win approach to negotiations was instrumental in the positive employee climate he nurtured at every institution he helped lead. He now advises and supports other colleges and organizations who are struggling with collective bargaining or employee climate issues through his ancillary company, Avisan Consulting.
Mister Sanchez maintains a strong network of relationships within the community college arena, and can help universities and third-party service organizations navigate the complexities of negotiating stronger transfer enrollments, articulation agreements, and vendor relationships. Through clients in this sector, our firm is currently working with a number of California Community Colleges. Our clients include a revolutionary student service support organization, JourneyGPS, and PassionSpark, which is devoted to helping high school and college students identify careers that align with their deepest passions
